The reason you want to be better is the reason why you aren’t. Our endless desire for self-improvement can itself be the biggest obstacle to our self-improvement. Such desire clouds our perception and prevents us from seeing that sometimes not effortfully trying to improve ourselves can actually be the best way to do so.
Happiness is the absence of striving for happiness. Through psychotherapy, meditation, and breathwork, we can create an unwavering home inside of the self that becomes unaffected by the fluctuating energy and perceptions of the world around us.
We can apply these approaches towards our environment, community, career, belief systems, physical activities, healthy eating, and creative activities. Living with intention in your everyday life will allow you to achieve your full potential and live with passion and purpose.
